Default How to remove trim at base of roof

Hi, I hope I've explained myself enough but I'm looking to get my rear 1/4 painted and I was wondering how to remove or just release the black plastic trim that goes around the top of the quarter/bottoms of the roof.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm not sure this is the exact section you are referencing MMCB, but I'll post this link just in case.

I think you mean #16, I believe you gotta remove the soft top to gain access to that piece.

I just replaced my soft top and can confirm that you will basically need to remove the soft top, to get that trim piece out.
