So I'm trying to remove 3m paint protection film. I'm using my fingernail to get under the paint protection film and get it off, I am also using a heat gun to heat it up. I'm just wondering if there is a better way then how I am doing it. If anyone can help that would be awesome.!

 

I don't know how much help this would be or if this is a good application but I've used an eraser wheel to remove stickers and trim residue. Any body shop supply store should have it. Got mine at Carlson body shop supply on 97 street, just north of 51 Ave. for like 10 bucks...

There are sprays that are designed to help with the removal of vinyl

also use an old credit card or debit card to scrape instead of your nails
