Hard Top paint
#2
I've seen one picture of an oem hardtop that had those parts painted silver to match the top, it looked awesome and I wanted to do it to my hardtop. I have never seen another picture of one done like that. The only downside is those parts are vulnerable to paint chips from stones, I had a couple chips on mine when I had my hardtop, but I guess you could always touch it up like stone chips that occur everywhere else.
It is quite a bit of work getting those moldings off the car if you want to paint them, I took mine off a when I had my hardtop painted. When you take them off the weatherstripping rips off with them and you need to re-seal several areas upon re-installation to keep the hardtop water tight. It's a bit of work and you have to be precise with gasket sealer.

Check with a paint guy. I asked my guy if he would do it with the moldings in place and he didn't want to do it that way. I agree that it would be much easier for you to paint them in place, if you can find someone to do it , or if you are up to doing it yourself.

I wouldn't paint them. You're painting berlina black anyway and OEM doesn't have that area painted. It will be worth more that way should that sad day come that you ever have to part it off and sell it. I know you like OEM look anyway. My vote paint it berlina black and leave the trim unpainted for an OEM spec restoration.
