getting ASM front bumper. reviews?
Hey guys i just ordered an ASM front bumper for my s2k. What do you guys think of it? Is fitment good? does it look good in person? Did i buy the wrong bumper? Give me some feed back fellas also i got it for 185 plus shipping. is that ok or did i over pay for it? thanks !

No, you ordered a knockoff/replica ASM front end......
Fitment is not going to be nearly as good as actual ASM. And if you already paid for it and bought it, kinda too late to comment on pricing......

Lol.. really. Its probably going to fit horribly, and going to need a good amount of prep before you paint it.

holy shit almost 2gs for a bumper!? ill be good with my replica... and i would have loved to keep my oem bumper but its trash, the car was in a crash so thats why i need a new one

i think that bumper is from dureflex and it should fit pretty decently with a heat gun and some trimming.
im all for knock off parts that are for the exterior/interior. just a waste of money imho. but engine or drive train wise, buy the best of the best. be cheap where its ok to be cheap.

As far as replicas go, apart from the Shine ASM front bumper, I don't think you're going to know if you'll have decent fitment until you get it. It seems that these go one of two ways -- impossibly bad fitment or fairly close. Note, even the authentic ASM needs some significant body work to fit properly. It all depends on how detail oriented you want to be.
