I purchased mine from OEM Thing - Laguna Blue. It is darker than my OEM paint, but not incredibly noticeable in most lighting. Still, given the praise this vendor has received in this thread, I am not completely happy with the purchase. Maybe Laguna is just hard to match?

On another note, I installed some think weatherstripping and actually used the two bolt holes instead of using the double sided tape. Since I like it I may just re-do with the tape... then again this is more easily reversible.

about to pull the trigger on one of these, only one concern.... is it possible for water to get stuck in between the spoiler and trunk lid?

just curious, i plan on going the tape only route, but i havnet really seen anyone mention weather stripping, not even sure if its needed?

i wouldnt want to remove my spoiler down the road and find water marks or anything that will damage the trunk

hi guys,

how do you prevent your trunk from staying water under the spoiler?
i could imagine that over years staying water can damage the paint and maybe also the sheet

I am going in for some body and paint work soon... Since the body shop will be mixing matching paint, do you think it makes sense to go with the unpainted spoiler?

Does the unpainted spoiler come with the 3M double sided tape? And is it obvious where the double stick tape should be installed?

Anyone have a photo of the underside of a painted oem.thing spoiler with the tape positioning?
