door blended
after looking at my car today and this picture a bunch of times i have noticed it looks like whoever painted my fender prior to me buying the car blended the fender to the door, im wondering if i could polish or wetsand this area (they didnt do the whole door) to bring it back to original.
the reason i ask is i bought a used fender that matches the car but looks funny next to that blended, darker area.

If it doesn't match I would think it is not blended..
I mean you can go with aftermarket fenders, the only disadvantage I see would be safety because they are fiberglass or CF and not metal. Personally it sounds like you just lowered it too much but I guess damage is done now. You can get Seibon fenders which are a tad bit wider than stock and are not too expensive.
