This Spring I'm going to make my own hardtop. ok, ok hear me out.

I've got tube bending and welding experience (aluminum), fiberglass and carbonfiber experience, and auto body experience.

that along with a lot of 3d modelling under my belt, i figure its at least feasible.

Ever heard of anyone trying this yet?

And most importantly: anyone know where i can get a 3D model of any on the market right now?

Where are you located? I have had a few ideas myself. I do some work with carbon and fiberglass myself. Interested in seeing what you have in mind.

it will probably be close to OEM as there are more of those kicking around that i can get eyes on.

except for the glass back, thatll end up a flat piece of lexan.
