Default Bought S2000 with Veilside Body kit

Hey guys, so I traded a pretty bad shape yaris for an equally bad shape s2000. I am very resourceful, and managed to get pretty much every issue fixed... except for the aesthetics.

The car was in an accident, and im not sure whos idea it was to put on a veilside body kit, but they did. The problem is that they molded the veilside front fenders into the veil side side skirts into the door and oem rear fenders... so its all molded and one piece. Now Although I dont mind the front bumper and the side skirts.... the rear bumper is ricey, aggressive and fits awkwardly over my exhausts.

Can anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Would it throw off the look of the car if I changed the rear bumper to something else? Could and should I change the front bumper too?

What do you think think? Or should I suck it up and take dirty looks from other s2 owners.... is it that bad and frowned upon to have this aggressive body kit?

Heres a few pics

Search for some used bumpers and wheels, swap em out and sell the stuff that came on the car. Somebody will want it.

It looks just like the one from fast and the furious. U just need the door stickers and your set! It all comes down to u. If u don't like it your always gonna wish u had a different bumper. Somebody will want it for sure, for the fact that's it's the veilside kit from the movie. Your call

In all honesty, its actually growing on me now. I like the lines, looks very sleek... a little agressive,,, but wtf its an s2000. not a civic.

But another concern is if I do end up changing the bumpers, will it make the side skirts looks weird? will it throw off the flow of the design.. becuase the side skirts and fenders are veilside.. and im quite limited to only changing the bumpers (because of the molding). Or would it be okay?

I wish there was an interactive body kit, bumpers, and lips software. ahaha.

thanks guys

Ps this car is so RADICAL... YOU CAN TOY WITH SO MANY CARS ON THE STREETS.

I don't think the kit looks horrible but I would never drive it. Those wheels need to go more than the body kit though. They look like discount tire specials. I think with the right wheels and maybe a different exhaust (what exhaust is that skunk 2?) it could be better.

My other concern is that I cannot change the veilside side skirts... would it look weird if I went with the stock bumpers with lips, and have the veilside side skirts and fenders?

If you just did the rear then no it wouldn't look to bad. Maybe have a diffuser or something to make the rear aggressive. If you replaced the front and rear and left the sides then it would look bad.

Thats what I was thinking. The rear is ridiculous... anything looks better than that terrible bumper. Thanks manga-spawn

Would anyone suggest bumpers to go with this setup?

I would see if you can sell it and make money on it. Somebody will want that thing with the kit and pay extra for it.
