ASM rear over fenders
I just recently purchased a set of ASM fenders and rear over fenders, and I was wondering if anyone is running them without cutting the quarter panels? How aggressive wheels can you run? It looks to me like if you just roll the rear quarters you will get pretty much the same clearance as cutting them. The lip on the over fender sits where the old body line is. Are y'all trimming the over fenders to fit more aggressive setups? I don't have a problem with cutting the quarter panels if need be, but I just want to make sure it is necessary. If anyone has them installed can you please post pictures of your personal setup? I would like to see what offsets you can fit with and without cutting the quarters. Please post wheel specs as well.

you will want to cut the panels, primer the seams and either weld it back up or another type of sealant. i did it for a buddy of mine, i also trimmed the over fender all the way to its edge to get the additional clearance, and then trimmed the rear bumper and pulled it out to meet with the overfender.
already with a pull we previously did
the cutting...
the damage...
primered and sealed back up
test fit
riveted in, rear bumper tab relocated, pulling bumper to match over fender
finished product
that is with a 17x9 +35 with 255 nittos.
hope this helps!

Aahhhhh f'ing love them. I am just waiting a few months before i pick up some wider wheels, and will install these to match my front ASM style fenders.
@OP, defintely do cut the quarter panel because i dont see any point of it, if you dont cut it. I guess it would just be for looks them
