Default About fixing the dent on rear fender

Recently, my car got hit in the rear fender when I was away in a parking. The dent is about a quater big, I wondered if I can get it fixed by rolling the fender? Please leave your comment, thank you!

A fender roll won't fix that, but a PDR guy might be able to make it a lot less noticable or maybe even get rid of it, but it looks quite deep. Or you can go the unconventional route and get overfenders.

Yeah fender role won't fix it. Maybe pdr but that's really a terrible spot for the dent with the edge.

I have a dent in that spot, just not nearly as big as yours. The PDR guy at the Dragon event was amazing (Matt Moore), but he didn't think that he could fix it. The inside of the lip has a reinforced metal plate over the outer skin, so the dent can't be pushed out through the extra metal plate. I think that needs autobody work, or cover it up as mentioned above.

I have an almost similar dent from a shopping cart on mine. Theres no PDR in the world that can fix it. You're going to have to get it body worked and repainted. I just got done tearing the interior of my car out to get the softtop off, to get the stupid rear trim off, in order to get proper coverage on the whole rear quarter. Car's in the paint shop as we speak. Good luck man. Feel free to send me a PM and Ill shoot you my number if you have any questions. I was pretty on my own for answers with this one so I know it's always nice to have someone walk you through it.

Holy crap, that sounds like a lot of works to get it fixed. I might just leave it or get a fender flare. Thanks a lot brother!!

I have a similar situation on my driver's side front fender... Not as sharp a dent as yours, but the paint was compromised, and I need to get it fixed, or leave it alone...

I am likely going to take it to the body shop... It's about an $800.00 repair (and out of insurance, of course)... But I have a $1,000 deductible anyway, so even if it was claimable, I'd be in for the first $1K... And if my deductible were $500, it'd be $300 to me... In either case, I'd likely get the job done...

You might want to get a few quotes just to see how much it will run to get your ride back to near perfection again...
