Default VAFC: Before/After Dyno and tuning?

It sounds like the VAFC might be a good way of extracting some additional mid range and high rpm HP relatively inexpensively... Sounds like a few of you guys have ordered them.

I'm very interested in seeing before/after dyno charts, as well as hearing more about who did the tuning, and exactly what they did.

Who's already installed these? Who's on deck?

P.S. I can't believe how much you guys have modified your cars since I last saw you! I'm gone for the next few weeks, but how about a mountain drive in late March? I'll post a seperate thread...

I am always for a mountain drive!

I plan on getting my harness tomorrow and the VAFC on Friday. Plan on doing all the final taping with the harness on Saturday. Hopefully will install it on Sunday and plan on going to PFI in Fort Collins on Friday to get it tuned.

Anyone else getting theirs?

You still want some help Kwando?

pfb: I have one installed and somewhat tuned. Let me put it this way...A few months ago I didn't have it tuned and lost to an S2000 w/o a catalytic converter in a race from a stop. I tuned the VAFC without a dyno, only using my A/F meter, raced him again and beat him by about 2 lengths. Last night I raced a turbo MKIII Supra (He had raced the same S2000 and killed him a few months ago), and I took him up to about 70 until he passed me. After, he came running up to my car and asked, "What the hell do you have done to that thing?!?!" I take this as a pretty good sign that it is well worth the money, even though I haven't dyno tuned it.

I'll probably steal Kwando's settings once he gets his tuned, since we have pretty much the same stuff done. If that's alright with him of course.

I will call you this weekend if i need any help. I did a search all night last night and found some thread that talked about the harness and what pins I should tap into. I have everything ready for the install just need the VAFC.

Let me see, $125 for him to tune my VAFC, you want my settings? 50 BUCKS!!! LOL

I've got to find a dyno and get mine done before the V-AFC and harness arrive I'll be sure to post before and after results.
