I'll defiantly be there on the 5th but i may do both dates.

this is the first time i will have a car on the track, i have done the bike lots. i just want to go at my own pace. this is so way before amateur level and dont want to "this is your chance to prove what you and your car can do in the real world"

i am trailering my car and will have some tools, gas, lap timer etc and have a trailer for the just in case. i have space for others, track tires etc.

It'd be nice when things progress a bit further to get a head count of those interested. I can only afford to do one day, and I am leaning toward the HPDE, never did the SCCA thing, and this sounds like a really good deal and fun time.

Sorry, I don't think I can do the 5th (I have to be in Casper that night), but I may be able to make it on the 11th if I can get back from Casper in time. I do still have snow tires on though!

I just wanted to let everyone know, I was just informed that NASA (www.nasarockymountain.com) is holding an HPDE and several other events the following weekend. Literally it was JUST posted this morning on COdrift.org (we have a good contact from NASA there).

2/23 Update for March 11/12 NASA event:

only 7 spots left in HPDE1
only 4 spot left in HPDE2
Plenty of room in HPDE3/4

TRACK DAY IS CANCELLED FOR MARCH 5TH.

Jah just called and they decided they are cleaning up the track that day. This pisses me off since I called over a month ago and they said I didn't need to reserve anything.

If anyone wants to go Saturday the 4th. Jah could probably call and see if that would work, but I have to work so I can't go.

I'll be up for a drive on the 5th instead though.
