You should post this question on S2KCA.com under the "Mile High" chapter as the Colorado guys are much more active there.

I guess it depends on how much time you want to spend going through CO. There is a lot to see and a ton of great roads to drive. If you enter CO on I70 you really have a lot of options on what to drive. There are beautiful roads north and south of I70. You could easily spend 5+ days driving all the scenic twisty roads. A few of the roads I like driving on are Mt. Evans (even though its crowded), peak to peak road between Black Hawk and Estes Park, and Hoosier Pass outside of Breckenridge going towards Fairplay. There are a ton of little side roads that are less busy but like I said you would have to have more time.
