70 was fine on the way back. If you ran it up to 8500 and shifted hard, that might cause you to lose it. Just cruising in sixth and driving cautiously, I've never felt the car be anything but stable.

With very worn rears, it was a pucker at 85 with standing water on the road. I've never had a problem with decent rubber, though.

OMG those are amazing shots. I hope I can get enough S2ks together one day to get pics like that. We just started, First Coast S2k in June. So far we're up to 6 at the meetings. I have a list of about 12 though. Wow. Amazing shots.

I have felt my OEM S02's break loose in the rain with good thread. They key is to drive VERY conservative in rain. Don't EVER go into VTEC in a turn in the rain.
