Hey guys, it doesn't look like this board is too active but I'm gonna give it a shot anyways.

I'm looking to buy a first gen Insight for a winter beater/gas saver/thing to keep the miles off the S. Anyways, I found what seems like a pretty decent deal out there in Westminster and I was wondering if anyone has heard of the place that's selling it or better yet, would mind going over there to check the car out for me.

And it's a 2002 Honda Insight silver 5sp. If they say anything about it being reserved for someone, that someone is me. Just tell them that you are checking it out for Joel Pratt.


Not looking for a full work up, just wanted to see if someone could go and make sure I'm not flying out there to buy something that's leaking oil all over and won't actually start.

Westminster, CO is very close to Denver, CO. Perhaps there is someone in Denver who can check this out for you. I am about 81 miles out from that location or 1 1/2 hour. Sorry!

There are a few people that live in that area. Maybe they will chime in. If not I might be able to go look at it for you. I'm only about 25 miles from there.

Awesome, that would be fantastic. I hope someone chimes in because I have a flight planned for Wednesday the 2nd of December and I hope someone can confirm that it's ok before I get out there.

Nothing is booked in stone so no rush really, but the sooner I get an Insight the better, a 55 mile a day commute is not good for my S.

I am pretty close to wesminster... I should have some time this week if not i can go out there monday and take a look at it... if you want to pm me a list of what I should check out or what you are most concerned about that would be great...
