Default Need to borrow a Coil Pack

Trying to get my car running and cannot get spark. Coil pack connectors test good but no spark when plugged in. Wanna test a pack from a good car, but no one stocks them. Otherwise I wanna plug one of mine into a good car to see if it is the pack.

I live Arapahoe Rd and Parker Rd. Anyone wanna let me come over?

I doubt they all died. But I tested before and got spark. Now for some reason I cannot. I tried all the packs on all the connecters with 2 different plugs with earth ground and car ground. Never a spark. I have some new things to check before I go to new coil packs. PITA trying to get this thing to start...

Definitely try posting this up on S2kca. There are a few people that have spare coil packs laying around. If you just need to plug your coil pack into a car I might be able to help with that.

A little off topic..sorry, but is there a walkthrough or a guide anywhere on how to test the coil pack? I'm misfiring and need to check them, but can't really find anything in depth.

Spa - it wouldnt hurt to plug mine into your car and rule out the fact that they are all bad. Just let me know if you're willing.

Menace - Do you know how to get to the coil packs? If you pull them out you can stick spark plug in the end of one and touch the side of the plug to something metal and have some turn the car over. Watch for spark. If your car runs, you can start it and unplug the coils one by one and listen to when there is no change. That will be the one not firing. You can swap that one out with another cylinder and redraft the car and test again. If the problem moves to another cylinder the coil is most likely bad. If not, check the plug and other things.

Yep..that's exactly what I did..after I applied some common sense to the whole thing.
