Default had some time on my hands sunday and i been lookin at that windshield tape, so...(pho

b4.....

and after.....

unfortunately i was not one of the lucky ones. the side emblems and windshield tape came of pretty easy and took about an hour total. unfortunately the paint underneath the windshield tape has a significant amount of superficial scratches. you can't see them unless you are in sunlight, but i know they are there. going to a body shop i trust for a consult.

Tape removal looks very nice with the yellow HT. Nice decision...sorry 'bout the underside. Hope the shop can assist ya!

me too! everything i read made me believe the bad paint under the tape was urban legend bs. well, sometimes those legends are based in fact.

Hope the body shop does a good job. Still looks great! The hardest part is matching the spa yellow paint.

the finish rubbed out fine and looks like new.

that was a bit scary, but in the end i think that the tapeless version looks much better with a hardtop.

I'm glad everything worked out. Time to do the headlights.

I am working on building a custom box for the trunk to fit a 12. Are you still interested in getting a sub?
