I have some relatives out in Denver.. was thinking about getting an apartment out there? any suggestions on what to go for and what to stay away from (apartment wise)? i checked apartmentguide.com and saw a few good listings. anyways, ive been pretty lucky as far as not getting things stolen from my car out here in so cali. (knock on wood). im assuming i shouldnt have to worry to much out there? any information or advice on moving would be nice. thanks

Everything depends on where you are looking, how much you want to spend, close to the mountains, etc. There are definitely some areas to avoid but mostly the denver area is a good area. Since you say you are tired of living in the big city, I'm guessing you would be happier living in surrounding areas of Denver.

i found a pretty good apartment in kissimee (spelling).. what areas are you advising to avoid?

I'm unfamiliar with where Kissimee is. A couple places to avoid in the Denver metro area would be five points and northern Aurora. Although northern Aurora isn't bad in spots, you just have to know where to look.

Where are you planning on working and what are you looking for...

I live in broomfield living costs aren't crazy and we are close to boulder (Always in the lis of top 10 places to live) and withing 30 minutes of nice drive, downtown Denver and really anywhere else in the metro area
