Default FS: Sparco 383

I have a gently used Sparco 383 competition wheel. I have used it for a few track events, but I swapped to a larger wheel with a deeper dish. Reatil, 239. I will take, 200 shipped.

Suede, 330 mm, Dish 39mm

See here for more details,

Damn it, Jeff... why does it have to be suede? That's too much friction between my gloves and the wheel. I need/want that exact size wheel.

What hub were you using? Did you have a quick release? If so, which one?

I'm working on an aftermarket steering wheel setup, and I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out where it's going to be relative to stock

I went through a few before I got thing the way I liked them. I ended up with a wheel that was closer to the driver then stock, but that is the way I wanted it.

First I used a Works Bell short hub (2 1/2") and a Snap:Off race quick release (1") with a Sparco 383 (330mm wheel, with a 39mm dish). The distance from the dash for the wheel was just about OEM. I wanted the wheel closer and I also wanted a larger wheel. So I swapped in a MOMO type full size hub, and a Sparco 345 (350mm wheel, with a 65mm offset). The size was not for feel, but was to view the gauges on the cluster. The wheel blocked the OEM dash's tach almost perfectly.

Thanks

My gf bought me the Momo hub for xmas, and I'm planning on using a Rick's gift cert I have towards the Snap:Off quick release.

Wasn't too sure about the diameter of the wheel and dish.

How much of a difference in height is there between the Momo hub and Works short hub? 1" or so?

Yes, abouty 1". Most of the wheels have a 3xmm dish. Basically that makes the mounting surface level with the back of the steering ring, where a 0mm dish would have that same mounting surface in the center of the steering ring.

Thanks again

You mentioned that the 330mm blocked the display.... How tall are you? Obviously the blockage has to do with the angles between your eyes and the gauges. With the stock wheel, how much space was there between the steering wheel and the top of the gauges?

Thanks for answering all my questions
