DFW, TX: $6500 2001 Lamborghini Orange S2000: Track Car Ready

So, this is a long story. but bare with me. I bought a salvage title 2001 shell back in 2007 after I wrecked my turbo S2000. The plans were to transfer all good stuff from wrecked car to this car. When I took possession of the car, it was in worse shape than described and so I decided to completely rebuild and repaint the car. It was given a California salvage title after a theft and was left in a stripped condition. It then went to Colorado where it was rebuilt and put back on the street. That person made some unwise engine mods and the engine bay caught on fire. He parted the car down to the shell and I bought it. It does appear to have had some bodywork in the past, but no frame damage or anything serious. All alignments have been spot on and everything lines up as it should. I was able to use the doors and hood from my wrecked car (damage was all in the rear) and I bought new OEM front fenders and AP2 front and rear bumpers. Car was completely stripped to nothing, taken to a world class paint guy in Dallas, who made it look incredible! Car is wearing Arancia Borealis (Lamborghini Orange) and was a 100% complete repaint, including under hood, trunk and all molding edges, as well as windshield header. I paid over $8000 for the paint job and new OEM pieces alone. I meticulously replaced every wiring harness and all interior from my wrecked car and put all AP2 running gear on it. It has AP2 transmission, AP2 diff, AP2 shocks, AP2 rear subframe and AP2 interior. I originally had planned to put the stroker motor I have for sale in this car, but plans changed. Just as I was finishing the car, I decided to downsize from 3 S2000's to 1, so this one is the one I kept. One of my others was a track car, so I pulled all the track car stuff off of it and sold the car and made this one my track car. It has seen all of one weekend on the track before I blew another motor and now I am downsizing to NO S2000s.
The car is completely back to stock except for spherical bushings on all the suspension pieces and upgraded toe links and bump steer kits. The car also DOES NOT have a soft top or motors or frame in it. It does have a very ill fitting RSG single sided carbon hard top that will come with it. It is missing a few of the back interior pieces, but that is all. It has a stock OEM 2002 ECU with it and I have all of the emissions stuff, but they are currently not on the car.
The motor is still in the car and will start, but the oil pan was full of gold glitter, so I know it spun a bearing. The oil pressure is low. It will start and drive and can be loaded on a trailer, but I would not drive it farther than that. The head on the motor has been built and has all ferrea valvetrain and should not have any issues. Basically, the car will need a new bottom end on the motor and a soft top if you want that. It is currently titled and registered in Texas and had an inspection sticker through the end of March. It will need a new inspection sticker in Texas. With the stock ECU, you will need to reinstall all of the emissions stuff to pass inspection or use KPro (which is what I did). The car will include 18" rims and basically new street tires. I have a ton of extra S2000 stuff I could give away as well. This will make somebody a great car, just needs a little TLC.
Could easily be converted back to a track car.
