i,ve talked to a few other guys that did not know these forums existed,they are going to pleasantly surprised, note just put a deposit on a 2003 wrx-sti hopefully I will see it late next year,ken

About that Permanent Shine/Paint Protection.
I doubt any amount of dawn is actually going to remove it. That stuff is solvent based from what I could tell last I saw it, and goes on pretty thick. I recall seeing a tech spray it on a car awaiting delivery once, and all I can say, is I wouldn't spend the money they charge on it. Zaino seems to yield far better results on an untampered paint job.
Having said that, my folks have the perma shine stuff on their CRV, and despite it not been waxed since new, still looks pretty decent for 3 years and 80,000KM. Each to their own I suppose.
