Default WTT: my CF hood for your stock Silverstone hood

As the title states, i'm looking to trade the carbon fibre hood my car came with for a stock Silverstone hood. When i bought the car the previous owner was to ship me the stock hood, but we found out that shipping is crazy expensive. I'm not a fan of cf stuff in general so i want to get a stock hood back on my car. The stock hood should be in excellent condition and i'd prefer an '01 hood if possible as i understand there are several slightly different shades of Silverstone with different model years.

The hood i have is supposedly a seibon hood but i can't confirm or deny that, but it is a stock style hood (no vents or such). It does have some of the support on the underneath cut to make room for a strut tower bar that was once on the car which will make it more flexy. But let's face it this is really an appearance modification, not a performance one.

If anyone is interested, let me know and i can take some pics of it or if you are in the Edmonton area we can meet up to have a look at it. I'm also possibly willing to meet someone from neighboring provinces halfway.

That's something i'll keep in mind if i can't find one in Silverstone. Perhaps i should look for a pic of Silverstone with a BB hood as i think it might look kinda cool, but my wife doesn't seem to think it would. I guess i'll see what happens with Silverstone first . I'll definately let you know if i'm looking for BB though

Yeeeah I think she might be right, last thing you wanna do is have your car lookin like a junker with mismatched panels. Maybe if the trunk was black too, carrying the black from the hood over the roof right to the rear. I dunno, I'm thinkin' out loud.

Good luck findin an SS

UPDATE: I had a trade worked out, but the tradee backed out before meeting to exchange. He is probably going to sell the car instead, and as such wanted to keep the stock hood on. So i am looking to trade again, or outright buy a Silverstone hood.
