Not driving it in the winter.
I put it on jack stands a month ago and probably won't think about driving until May.

Can't tell from the picture, are your wheels off? I've heard some people say that it is unwise to let your suspension hang like that when storing the car...any thoughts?

yes, the wheels are off. I heard the samething about the suspension hanging. Last winter I didn't put anything underneath the suspension and it turned out ok (car sat for 7months). This year i'm going to put jackstands underneath the suspension just to be safe. Just waiting for the jackstands to go on sale again at AutoPrincess

Yeah Toeur, I'd get something under the suspension ASAP... you want some compression on the springs I would think.

I'd just pump the tires to 40psi and put some carpet under the wheels

That is what I have done in the past. It seemed to work OK. I see that you can buy the rubber tire cradles but they are pretty expensive. Between those and pumping up the tires I think things would be covered.

Full tank of gas, pump the tires up to 40, maybe some carpet... I'll disconnect my battery too.
