test drive: 350Z
Well, I am helping my friend look at a few cars, the 350Z, G35 Coupe and the 330Ci. We went to test drive the 350Z and all I can say is that I am glad to have a S instead.
Even though the low end was nice, everything else wasn't. The clutch feel was off, seem like it was like a clicker, clicked into position rather than smooth. The tranny was notchy, and the shifter moved while in gear depending if you are giving it gas. There were huge blind spots, there are less blind spots with our top up. The brakes were nice, violent stops since it was a track pack equiped with Brembos. I felt more disconnected from the road than when in the S. The driving position was a bit off as well, guess I wasn't 6'ft +. It just felt heavy. I guess we are spoiled but I'll keep my S thanks very much.
