Well I just bought my new "winter beater", will take delivery in mid September. It's a 2012 Ford Raptor Supercrew! Pretty excited to get it.

lol you just bought a winter beater that is 3x the cost of your summer cruiser! Congrats! Beautiful truck! I wish I could afford one.

Wow - Raptor for a winter "beater"! Nice!

I'm looking at GM 4x4 pickups now - something that can fit a quad and tow another, with room for the wife and two kids as well. I figure there's no point in getting a vehicle that serves the same role as my wife's car (just carry people).

Haha not baller by any means, just have a car priority vs some other things. But I have always dreamed of getting a raptor!

The theme for my A4 will be kijiji. Found it on kijiji, just bought a brand new set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs off a kijiji seller in Calgary too. The guy threw in a set of two year old Koni shocks too - paid $250 plus $40 Greyhound shipping! Next month, picking up a damaged Audi OE accessory Avant roof spoiler fom a Craigslist seller in Vancouver, along with Audi OE Sport package suspension - total cost $60! however, at some point I guess I will have to buy new stuff. Ah well...

I just realized that it's almost September and we have had epic fail for Edmonton S2k meets. For sh!ts and giggles, we should have an S2ki winter beater meet in November. I wanna get a ride in the Raptor....
