They're nice, but tons of cars have a push button... my brothers old '75 Datsun B210 had a start button

RX-8 has one, Z4, quite a few Mercedes have "keyless go", etc

Aren't they? I test drove one a long time ago. For whatever reason I remember it having a start button.

There are JDM factory kits out for the RX8 push button, maybe thats what confused you.

A push button start does not a nice car make.
I've never like the Lexus GS series. That rear roof line makes it look like an "old man's" car. It makes the car very disproportionate looking, almost like they're trying to make a fastback out of a 4 door sedan. I've never liked the Mayback for the same reason.
