I have an AEM V1 cold air intake, always wondered how much more power the V2 makes and whether it's worth upgrading. I'm pretty happy with the sound and performance of mine now though.

I see you removed the panel off the front bumper, looks like a good way to get more airflow.

Did you ever consider upgrading your air filter to one of those k&n ones that are an inwards cone shape at the top of the filter and the whole top is made of filter material instead of a flat black rubber piece like the one you have now. Might give you more of a ram air effect with the removed panel.

the V2 intake is perfect! i dont know versus the rest of them but i know that the difference between the stock and V2 is like day and night lol the sound is AMAZING! its screaming like a monster! and the torque is way higher now! all my friends back to Greece have V2 in their S2k and they told me its a must have in your car. i guess they are right hehehe. Now the only way to compare them with yours guys its when we ahave a meeting in Edmonton about the airfilter i havent think of it yet but i am sure in the future i am gonna do something about it

Those pipe style intakes are good for power gains, but the Js/Gruppe M are all designed for power and throttle response which is a big factor
