Maybe For Sale....my '01 Spa.
Well folks,
We have some relatives in town from the UK, and I have been faced with an awesome investment proposition. Only problem is, a lot of equity is tied up in my S2000. I could borrow from other relatives, but thats not really my way of doing business. As such, here is a "feeler" post per se, to get some interest in my beloved S2000. Here are the vitals:
2001 Spa Yellow Canadian Limited Edition S2000 (only 1 of 48 in Canada)
Purchased new August 25 2001.
KM to date: 3086
Accessories include:
OEM hard top
OEM car cover
Front skirt
Rear spoiler
Side Strakes
OEM Cd changer
Tinted glass
OEM black badge kit
Titanium shift knob
OEM wheel locks
Asking $41,000 OBO. Yes, that is only $8K less than a new car, but considering the way this car has been treated, coupled with the $7500 in options, I think the asking price is reasonable. The car has never seen a puddle, let alone a wet road, with the undercarriage being detailed on a regular basis. The car has had almost 10 coats of Zaino, and that is probably the appx. # of times the car has been handwashed since new. Leather has no creases, body has no dings or rock chips. The car is, and still smells new.

I have been struggling to conjure up various finance options for this investment opportunity. Essentially, I have to come up with liquid cash without borrowing from a financial institution (debt/service ratio BS) to finance this deal. If there were some other way, I would not want to part with the car. It's still fricken new for crying out loud!
In any event, the investment is lucrative enough for me to want to bite the bullet. Who knows, if this pans out, perhaps there is a Maserati in my future after all

Thanks for the compliments on my S. I'm convinced that it is in better shape now, and cleaner than the day I picked it up from the dealership!
