Default Icefield Parkway

My brother and I planning a road trip. You are welcome to join if you wish, nothing formal. This is a weather nice only trip so if it sucks that week then we ain't going Here are the details:

Rated as the best driving road in Canada by Askmen.com, the drive between Jasper and Banff contains awesome scenery for great pictures and a fantastic road to drive on. We will be meeting in Hinton at the Parks West Mall from your prospective starting points at Noon. We will then drive as a group to Jasper and then on to Banff where you have the option of spending the night.
On July 22nd we will then visit Sulphur Mountain and then possibly the Glacier Icefield.

So far going on the trip is:
1. Gary (me) - S2000
2. Rod - Porsche 911
3. Mike - Exo X
4. Brad - Subaru WRX
5. Matt - Civic Si

Yeah, can't make that Elk Island trip but that would be great if you can come to this one Ian.

Actually it is a Tues/Wed
We picked these days to see if it wouldn't be so busy on the roads. (good luck right!)

We just got back from a National Parks Tour and did the Icefields Parkway run with 6 S2k's.

You gotta do the road to Mt Norquay ski resort just outside of Banff. There is not much to see but the switch backs are tons of fun. Just watch out for wildlife.

Done this road on a motorcycle a few times - definitely one of the roads that reminds me of all the roads in Europe
