Still too much gravel and sand out..

not really actually... on main roads it is ok

i inspected my usual morning route and noticed that theres really no gravel between the lanes or on the lanes, just in the gutters so it'll probably be sooner than later for me to get the S back out. That deck should be in today or tomorrow and i'll be throwing it in right away.

does anyone know how to get the AP2 center console out so that i can get the stock radio out?

Use a plastic pry tool if you have one (they have sets of these at Princess for $20 though) but if you don't have such tools, in a pinch you could wrap a screwdriver in electrical tape. Then you just pry the whole radio door / vent assembly out, and you'll have access to the deck. Start at the top where it meets the dash, and then a bit at the bottom if you can reach it. Otherwise, the centre console itself (with the shift boot and storage bin) needs to come up a bit - again, use the pry tool or wrapped screwdriver and just pry upwards.

Both pieces are held in with metal spring clips - you just need to overwhelm their hold on the female side and out it pops.

I've been driving my car whenever it was nice. So I never really put it away.
