Warranty isn't transferrable? Is that a Honda thing?

^it is a BS "industry" thing that i call BS on for if you moved from NYC to Edmonton i would hope my warranty is still applicable.

It came about as a way of discouraging CDNs from buying US cars over the last 5yrs.

I didn't have a problem with not having warranty up in till my top started to rip . Any money I saved was gone at that point .

Warranty IS covered from USA to CANADA, but only if you are the First owner. AKA bought from the dealership. I worked for Honda in alberta and we had a guy with a pilot and thats what i was told by the WESTERN regional rep. His name is Chris.

The only time US warranty isnt covered is when it's been through a sale after the first owner.

How ever i'm sure the dealership will still say it's not covered.

Not industry-wide. BMW allows it (on used as well) . I don't know about any others.
