Zahir Rana has officially acquired an Enzo Ferrari (Ferrari Fly Yellow). I spoke with him today and he will be driving it back from San Francisco in two weeks time. You can see it in action along with various other exotics on June 24th at Race City (including an LMP F40 from the USA) between 1:00-5:00 pm. They will be running the 1/4 mile for spectators as well. Admission is $20 and should be a ton of fun. The exotics will be on display later that evening at Eau Claire Market.

 

Sorry, but who exactly is Zahir?

 

He owns ZR Auto in Calgary which is a dealer of used exotics.

 

Sorry, many of the Calgary members know who Zahir is so I posted in that sense. Zahir also owns a 92' F40, 01' Diablo SE, and an 03' 610 HP twin supercharged Novitec 360 Spider.

 

Driving it back from San Francisco? Sheesh... that's what 2500 km right there. Almost time for a 50K service! I hope you mean trailering!

No, Zahir is a true enthusiast, there will be no trailer involved. He drives his car's. I have seen photo's of his F40 in sopping rain. Zahir's Enzo currently has 700 miles on the odometer so he will break it in by all intents on the drive back.

 

Thats awesome!! A man with great taste in automobiles and isn't afraid to use them. If i had that deep of pockets to buy and maintain a car like that i would definitely be driving it all the time.

Wow he's a real balla! In Toronto there are 2 known Enzo's and possibly a third. That car is unreal! Sounds like he has some other real interesting toys!
