Damn hardtop
I'm getting this itch to take the hardtop off my S2000 and enjoy a little bit of top down driving (it's been almost 2 years since I've had any real top down driving in this car).
My problem is that since I'm renting a townhouse right now, I have absolutely no room to store the hardtop, even temporarily. (aside from taking it off the car and just laying it on the garage floor... but it'd have to go right back on the car when I park it in the garage at night... and it's not like I can always guarantee having a second set of hands to help me put it back on).
I don't want to sell it (do I?). Because I know Ill regret that when next winter rolls around.
I guess I'm mostly just bitching out loud -- however, if anyone has some ideas as to how I could store the hardtop for a week or two at a time, I'm wondering what I could do.

Hey, aren't you the guy who was going to keep the hardtop on his car "all the time"?
Any chance you can make a hanger from your garage ceiling like I did?

And as for keeping it on all the time, yes I did say that and I guess I probably should buy you and Ian both a beer because you both probably knew deep down I wasn't going to keep it on 365 days a year

If we have a meet in red deer this year, maybe I could take a bit of your time to take a look at what I have here, see if you think it's doable.. I'm no good when it comes to stuff like that!

Sure thing. My longer trips may be curtailed this summer as I don't get any vacation, so closer meets would be to my liking. (I'm still trying to get a couple extra days off in July to do a Washington/Oregon meet/drive [over-nighter]).
Good idea, but expensive.

Wasnt a retailer selling something that can let you have the top hoisted on the roof, and has a small come-a-long to take it on and off?

At todays currency prices, hardtops aren't too expensive from hardtopguy either.
It is a good time for hardtop shopping if anyone is in the market for one.
