Default Couple weeks in Calgary

Evening Everybody

Haven't really been around here much but I thought I'd stop in and say hello since I'm here in Calgary now again for a couple weeks working out of our western Canada office.

So where're good places to go out for drinks in the city? I'm staying at a place at the Birkenshaw if anyone knows where that is. Obviously know about the ol' Cowboys, but not always in the mood for a place like that...till I have a couple drinks in me already

I was out driving in Toronto this morning before coming out here, first time with the top down in a while and now I'm missing my S already! Jeeeez it's just a car

Talk to you soon

Mike

Give Classic Jacks a try on 17th Ave. Great atmosphere and service, not a club just a lounge.

There is also 1410, it's a beer market lounge. They have an assortment of different beers from around the world on tap or bottles.

For something more entertaining, club wise, Whiskey for the win. Much more mature crowd than say Cowboys.

I don't know what you're into but these are definitely some suggestions. Also try Bucannans (sp?) for steak, I think they're awesome for steak and seafood.

THanks for the tips!

Went to the chophouse last night, great food and service. Haven't spent 3 hours eating dinner in long time.

Who wants to take me out for a ride like, right now? I'm dying without my S, I just called executive car rentals and they don't have their summer fleet out yet so that means no porsche or exotic rental today

help me
