Mobil 1 synthetic 5W30 in winter and Mobil 1 synthetic 10W30 in summer. I park indoors at home and work.

I use Mobil 1 Syn so I guess either way 5W30 is fine. Is there a substantial difference with 5W30 in summer compared to 10W30?

Is it safe to mix Mobil 1 Syn with Mobil 1 Syn Extended Performance?
