Best S2K tuner in the west?
I just had a terrible experience with a local "Honda" tuner (I'm not going to mention any names right now as I am still in the process of doing what I can to get them to replace my engine)
I'm not sure when I'll be needing a tune again (I'll likely sell my vortech and go with Kraftwerks this time) but I want to take my car to someone who has tuned S2Ks before and won't fry my engine.
So I'm looking for input on where the best place to go in the west (I'd be fine with anywhere from Manitoba to B.C.) I'm using AEM series 2 so they must be able to tune in that.

Tomak tuned my car here in Calgary, actually having him lower my vtec engagement next week, along with taking a look at an idle issue I have now. Cars runs good otherwise and did a good job, I'm running an AEM v2 as well. Outside of Toma, no experience otherwise. There's lightspeed in Red Deer but they're more Subaru and Nissan focused I believe.
I believe folks on here have flown someone up from the states before to tune some rides, not sure if anything like that is happening in the near future though.

i organize tuning events in Edmonton. Couple of the Sasks guys came last month.
He tuned my ap2 and i was pretty happy with it, not much top end gains but midrange gained a decent amount.
What do Alberta/Sasks ap1/2's dyno stock engine, just curious?

I did a baseline run here in Saskatoon (k&n fipk, invidia 60mm testpipe, hks hi-power dual) on a mustang dyno and it put down 219whp uncorrected.
Are you talking about the civic and integra that went out there last month? Integra did ~460 and the civic was spinning on the dyno and was still somewhere in the 500s

Not sure on the cars, but as luder (james) said we usually bring Kenny from turbogixxer tuning up twice a year. If you can get in on that I was fairly happy with Kenny and my tune through him. He also does a street tune with you too which is pretty nice.
I've also tuned with Toma, he is pretty good as well. But he doesn't specialize in honda tuning like Kenny does. Up to you but I think Kenny is coming up late august, and you might want to get your name on the list for him. Talk to James about that!
Cheers

I've read good things about Zero Limits (I believe) here in Calgary. There's a guy there who owns an NSX and has worked on s2k's before from what I've seen. Likely where I'll be getting my clutch and sc done.
