Anyone in Calgary have their lizard skins/velcro patches installed to prevent rips/tears?
bought a 2009 last year and want to do some preventative maintenance on the top.
I bought some Lizard Skins.
Has anyone put other types of tape, velcro etc on the metal frame to prevent rips/tears.
If so, do you guys ever meet up? I wouldn't mind having a look at how you installed everything as I'm not overly good mechanically.
Thanks
James

Not in Calgary, but I have Lizardskins on the frame and some Tenacious Tape (from MEC) on the soft top where it was starting to rub through.
Skins are easy to install.. it normally goes around the chainstay of a bike but you can just as easily wrap it around the metal frame.
