Default 2012 Edmonton INDY

Who's going?

By far the best lineup of series this year. I am really looking forward to CASCAR and Star Mazda.

There is a great deal on groupon for grandstand 11 passes.

Also be sure to check out www.raceweekedmonton.com for all of the other events downtown and around the city.

cheers

I think we're gonna give the race itself a miss this year. Last year, we just went for a few hours on Saturday to watch a bit of practice and quali. But this year I think we will hit a few of the events during the day on Saturday - so fingers crossed it'll be nice weather, as we are aiming to check out a few things downtown, including the car show and such - with baby stroller and dog in tow!

I'll be there. Dad is racing in the Eurasia Cup again (bright yellow widebody 944 Turbo S with a big wing on the back) so I'll be working in the pits with him and we have seats in Grandstand 11 as well.

If anyone is walking around, feel free to drop by and say hi.

I had my NSX parked at GATE C looking to buy some tickets as the convoy come in. A couple of Rig drivers gave me the thumbs up.

I am looking for a Saturday ticket for my wife. Grandstand/Section 10.

Anyone have an extra? I will pay full price. (I could use a paddock pass as well)

I am going to try to get down to check out a couple of the events, not sure I will make it to the races though but will try!

Great day at the races! Installed an intercooler spray system for Dad this morning, then built a rear duct for his transmission cooler through the cabin in the afternoon (engine was running hot and the transmission was overheating). He qualified 1st in GTP-2 yesterday (6th overall) and won his class today, fending off two tube-frame 300ZXs for the last seven laps to take 1st in GTP-2 and 4th overall. Considering he hadn't driven the car as-is (new engine, new suspension, added a big rear wing, new front spoiler and a few new cooling items) until Tuesday of this week, it was a great result!
