wtb/wtt: ap1 coil/ignition pack
hey every1... recently my ap1 is having all the symptoms of a bad coil pack. sometimes at idle it sounds like a wrx/sti. sounds very abnormal then what i was use too at idle. it also sometime's while driving normally it will bog/ misfire/ backfire! not cool!!!! so i did alot of search online and all points to the coilpack. so i pulled all my coil packs and 1 of them is extra black, brown, n dirty. so i think i found my problem. im now i need of just 1 used coil/ignition pack from an AP1 or if any1 has a SET of used OKADA coil packs for sale please let me know.
thanks for looking. pm me if any 1 has em layin around.
PS: i also have a oem ap1 cat and a hks bov for trade if any1 is interested. if not im still willing to pay for the coilpack. i also have a robbins softop brand new in original packaging for sale.i paid 610shipped. price is 560obo ( its an AP1 with glass back) pm me your email n i can send pics. serious inquirys only.

I'm only interested in just 1 used ap1 coil pack /ignition coil. no need for a set...... I'm going to be turbo'ed in about 3-4months and will be purchasing a set of OKADA coil packs.... so purchasing a set of 4 oem coilpacks will probably be a waste of money 4 me rite now.....sooo pm me if your willing to let go of just 1 AP1 ignition/coil pack.
and yes im shure its the coil pack. 1 of the coils i pulled out of my car was so dirty, old looking, really brown compared to the rest, plus the bottom of the coilpack looked cracked, the gray rubber part!!!!!.........
i thought at first maybe a bad tank of gas. i ran it till empty, then filled, then emptied again a couple time's hoping it go away but it was still there. so then i thought maybe spark plugs? pulled them all / replace them all with oem ngk's.... still no difference, then i thought maybe injectors?..... so i used injector cleaner twice just to make no difference.... then i read up on the ignition coil post... seems very common with ap1's soo after looking at all the coil's...... 1 of them compared to all the others looked toast!..... thanks for reading everyone, hopefully someone out there has just 1 there willing to let go. ( pm me )

One sure way to know wile your waiting for a coil to turn up... is swap the bad coil to a different location and see if that cylinder with the questionable coil now misses.
I'd rather sell as a full set. 3 will be harder for me to sell to someone else.

Check the spark plug that was in the same hole as the brown coil pack ...... at that point, if you still need a coil, PM drstrangelove and he'll sell you a single. Don't just replace the burned coil, the new one will burn too, your sparkplug is loose!
