Why did my rear brake pads wear out faster?

I've been doing a web search, and it looks like maybe Tempilaq is the stuff to use.

Anybody local have any experience with trying this?

Ananda, did you put the top up or down right before one of your sessions or going home? (you pulled a Tedster/geppetto didn't you?)

Dude! Bad flashback to Monterey.

Ananda, if the problem went away on it's own, it was a pad surface thing; the fluid won't heal itself.

Get some decent pads for the track, either the Panther + or the ones they sell online here.

not really related to brake pad wear for the speedsters (i.e. no boiling fluids for me)...

i had to get my front pads replaced at 45K miles.

at that time, rear pads still had a little more than half of their life left

daily driving so not too crazy. one race school day event on street tires.

I still have a lot of meat left on my original pads at 49,000 miles, but I've gone through many sets of track pads.

Um... that was before my time here, I think... You'll have to tell that story around a campfire some time

You'll have more control using the pedal on the far right.
