Yup, definitely going and establishing another baseline.
Even though you can't go, it doesn't hurt to have more dynos and you'd be able to compare against other s2ks on the same dyno and day.

If your interested here is an indication of where we are at with the stock s2000 motor. Many of these guys chiming in are above 500whp. The OP is still trying to find the limits at 33psi over 700whp

You guys are worried about 300whp superchargers Should be worried about the rear end and trans well before the motor failing.
All in the tune!

exactly..these guys who are saying 700hp on stock internals are either lying or replace said stock internals after each run down the drag strip.
It's a matter of common sense really. Honda simply did not engineer the parts to take that much abuse. It's a great motor, but likely not good enough to maintain 700hp for very long.

^^^ Don't jump to conclusions so quick Cameron. That's what was thought about guys making 500whp just a couple years ago, and now that's as common on a daily driver as Swiss Cheese. Remember, the OEM motor is all forged internals. It is essentially a built motor from the factory. Guys that build these motors Sleeve the block, the rest is preferential. The biggest hurtle thought to get over with this motor with FI was the high compression, but what was once thought a limitation, was founded to not be when the addition of water/meth injection, E85 and Q16 came in to the community scope. It always takes those brave enough (and with some money lol) to break through the mold to find new levels. Things change pretty quick these days.
Now in regards to racing, I agree that puts more strain on things, heat being the biggest battle. If you can combat this with a proper tune and cooling modifications then that is going to ultimately dictate longevity in a constant flogging environment. Turbos produce more heat then Centrifugal Superchargers so it is more challenging for them. But the SC community with the invent of some refined SC's on the market now are making 500+ whp, essentially Turbo numbers but without some of the complications the Turbo guys are having at similar levels.
And of course there is always the exceptions and when people hear about them the rumors seem to run wiled.

Forged internals does not mean it can take infinite abuse above what it was engineered for. Eventually, something has to give. The numbers are impressive, don't get me wrong. On the other hand, he's only posted that setup 1 month ago, so let's see how long it lasts.
