carnutz has a good machine which is half the battle ....... I actually did the 20" HRE's at www.ftlperfomance.com but didn't want to direct "high risk" business toward Russ
What size and type/brand wheels and tires are we talking about here?

So the whole story is: I have a set of 19" HRE 895R to go on a friends Infinity G35 coupe (sold him the set) and I was trying to figure out where the best place might be to get new tires mounted on them. I advised him to avoid the usual les schwab and discount tire centers because the places I have been to are notorious for damaging wheels and denying any responsibility.
From the responses I have been getting, I will check out carnutz in bellevue and go from there.
Me personally: I have a set of Volk RE30's ($700 per wheel) on the S2000 and I define them to be "high end" but of course my friend who has a set of HRE's ($1700 per wheel) don't believe so. I will be taking my RE30's to carnutz as well since they seem to have a good reputation with you guys (incl. Ray and junky).
BTW: Thanks for the input everyone.

Those particular HRE's feature a reverse drop-center so they don't pose much of a risk or challange ..... Have your buddy take those to Russ at ftl for the good price .... No problems since the tires come off and go on from the back side.
Your Volks should be easy for Russ too assuming they're 18's or smaller.

They did an excellent job with my 22" wheels. Their equipment is computer controlled and never even touched the rims. Process was fun to watch. Awesome people too!

Russ and Marek at FTL do all my tires (perhaps five or six sets a year), and I've never noticed a problem with scratches. They are into performance driving, on this board, and all around good guys.
