Hey Mike -

Can you give us a few more details on that piece? Sounds pretty cool.

Thanks,

It's a Milwaukee impact wrench. I started by trying to buy a Harbor Freight cheapie, but it sucked and I returned it. The one I bought is spendy as hell ($299) but works like a dream. It includes a smart charger (fast, then trickle) and two batteries (so one can always be fully charged in reserve). But I've changed all the tires four times on a single charge, so battery life does not seem to be a problem anyway.

The torque extender was off the web from "torquestix.com". It's a very simple device -- it just torsionally flexes above 75 ft-lb, so it limits the torque to that amount. Elegant.

I could get you a part number on the impact wrench if you like.

I just tried www.torquestix.com but I got page not found. Are they down or wrong URL?

Any websites about the impact wrench? Where did you buy it from? Local or Internet?

BTW, I bought the wrench from Harbor Freight, which was the $299 price. Amazon had the same one fpr $339 or so.

Do a google search on "torque stick". I must have misremembered the website name.

$299!
You can get a compressor plus all the air-tools from Home depot. I recently got one!!!
How many voltage is the cordless impact wrench?
I have tried many electric impact wrench and they all sucks!
But they are nice to have on the track only too costly!
