Since Spring is now here and weather should be getting better I'm thinking about starting up the south end meets again with sushi meets but instead of every week we would do it every other week. I was thinking the first and third monday of each month. It doesn't matter really where the south end meets are going to be. I was thinking about keeping it to the federal way area but there are also good sushi places up near seattle as well.

i few places i was thinking about would be blue island sushi and roll in federal way by the LA fitness if people want to keep to a budget on sushi or if people dont mind paying more money and want a lot of sushi there is a sushi buffet near the commons.

if anyone else is interested in doing this meet then chime in.
any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

I'm down for sushi land. Only problem is parking there. I almost scrape going over the bumps there and parking is almost always full

 

it really depends on what time.. cuz the bowling place got bunch of parking..

actually it'll probably be easier to remember the meets if it was weekly wouldn't it? plus sushi is always good

I just went to Genki Sushi last night in Renton. It's next to the new Uwajimaya. Plates are $1, $1.50 and $2. There are a few soups that are $3, but for the most part everything else is $2 and less.

Good selection too of rolls and sushi. I know that might be a little more north than what people were suggesting, but it's same vicinity as Tukwila. More parking too. Anyway, just wanted to throw it out there.
