Man, you guys missed a good time!
The Porsche folks put on a good show and there were some seriously fast guys out there! The air was nice and dense (cold) and the cars felt fast.
We ran into Shane (silverpdxs2k) and his wife Becky ("perfect teeth" should be her screen name) who were in the area (ski show or something at the Expo Center) and BS'd with them for so long that both me and Russ forgot to go get gas prior to our next run session. We ended up having to cut the session short and milk it to the Gas Station. The funny thing was we didn't even know the other had the same problem until we crossed paths at the 76 Station
Beth didn't run out of Gas like us dummies but she did have fun passing people in the "B" group ...... GO BETH!
Too bad more of the gang didn't show ..... the Porsche gang was very laid back and somebody had even set up a HotLap transmitter so we didn't have to
For $100, 5 session and no a$$-holes, I'd say that ranks right up there with one of the most satisfying track adventures yet!

I totally agree with Ray. Awesome time.

I broke my spin cherry. Did a 180 on turn 6 (cold track!). Yes, I have it on video. Including Ray driving by waving!

I got my times down to the high 1:36's.

Ray remains King. He had some 1:33's & 1:34's I think. We stayed close to each other 'til traffic spread us apart.

I timed Beth on a couple laps at around 1:48.

Great times! These guys are way cool. My debrief on the spin: "What happened [smiling]? Yep, your tires aren't going to grip on the cold track. [chuckling] Have fun."

Sounds like a great event; cool. Smokin' times, too, everyone!

Russ, you spun in T6? The righthand sweeper at 100+mph? That must have been interesting... Or do you mean T3 (stupid chicane numbering system), the lefthander?

The left hander...

Chicane = T1-3
T4 = right hander
T5 = another right hander
T6 = left hander
T7 = right hander
T8 = slight left going into back straight.

... it was good .... Russ swore up and down he did a 540 but I kept insisting that only Jerry could do that going 80 mph (remember that story?) so we reviewed the tape to find he only did maybe a 170
It was also funny because Beth kept asking Russ what happened and he was hemming and hawing (w/ me in the background, peanut gallery style as per usual, screaming "Don
