The Spokane BMW class is an excellent one for all levels of drivers. No experience is required.

They split into three run groups, advanced-intermediate-beginner.

If you are in the beginner run group, then you will have an instructor with you the entire time on both days, unless they move you to the intemediate group. The only cars that took passengers along when I was there were instructors cars taking students and spectators, like the spouses and friends that came along for the weekend. If you are lucky, you can get a ride with one of the really fast cars that will blow your mind. Bring spare underwear.

The link I posted above has the registration and contact info if you have further questions for the BMW club who are running the event.

I believe you will need to arrange your own lodging, although they may have a suggested hotel.

Let us know what you find out.

I would guess that it's primarily novices, so they probably don't have run groups seperated by experience, but I don't know for sure.

Yes, you will have an instructor.

The ProFormance web site is:

click on Programs.

Here's the description:

I recently exchanged emails with Don Kitch at ProFormance suggesting that he hold a ProFormance event at Spokane. He said that they had two events scheduled there last year, but had to cancel them due to low enrollment. So unless a whole bunch of us somehow convince him that it is a popular idea, the two-day BMW events seem to be our only opportunity to try out Spokane Raceway Park.

ProFormance has added another PIR event in October; Chris, Guillaume, Jim and I had a great time at the last one...
