I spent five days at the Ring last year (across two trips), first in an Audi TT and then in a Z4 3.0. I'm pretty sure that corner is Adenauer-Forst, which is a tricky corner. To get decent exit speed, you have to enter the first left-hander very, very slowly, and apex the corner impossibly late. Otherwise, you'll be hot on the exit on the right-hander, which is what the guys in this video are doing repeatedly. Bad, overly aggressive and unskilled driving.
I suspect that the video was taken during one of the holiday weekends, when you do get a lot of very bad driving. That said, in my four days there, I never saw anything like this video -- it was never this crowded, nor did I see this sort of careless, irresponsible driving, ever -- which leads me to wonder if this wasn't a track event for a group of fools.
Five days at the Ring was, by far, the most fun and challenging driving I've ever done. With 14 miles of track and almost 1000 feet in elevation difference between the highest and lowest points, it's a wonderful track. Do a search in the Racing/Competition forum and you'll see an entire thread I put together on the Ring.
