Default TX to OH To Seattle/ Bellvue (Moving!)

Hey guys,
I am finishing up a fellowship in Ohio and landed a job in Bellevue and will be moving there end of september. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the Bellevue area. I was looking at the Pinnacle Bell Centre and Bellcarra apartment complexes since they have underground parking and will be close to my new areas of employment. Anyone have any suggestions? I prefer an apartment complex in the 1400-1600/ month range for a one-bedroom. Thanks so much guys and I am looking forward to a new car community!

OJ

Ten20 and Ashton are nice places which should fit your budget as well.

if you are willing to commute 15-25 mins you can get a really really nice apartment for those prices. even get into a house for about that.

Woodinville is a nice area, low crime and such. About 10-15 min commute to Bellevue. Condos are nice for that price range. Good luck and welcome!

+1 Ten20, took a tour of that place once, really nice for what you get. Also take a look at craigslist for condo's up for rent. There are a few in the bellevue towers as well.

If you like city living, I'd skip Bellevue and just move to Seattle and commute to work. Feel free to PM me offline if you want to hear my thoughts, I don't want to offend my fellow eastsiders ;-)

As much as I generally disdain the east side, I think it'd be pretty silly to live in Seattle if you work in downtown Bellevue. Frequently miserable, occasionally punishing commutes 5 times a week would seem to offset any benefits of living in Seattle (presumably for the better night life).

Woodinville to Bellevue is most often a 30-45 minute commute between 8 and 9 AM.

As well as between 4:30 and 6:00 PM. I-405 is basically a nightmare during rush hour, so it might be best to not stray too far from Bellevue.

I have to be at work at 7am so I don't see too much traffic, but I don't doubt that one bit. 405 is a mofo
