huge thank you to jerry for putting this together. it was an amazingly fun event, and if i can work it into my schedule i WILL be coming to the next event.
and thanks for letting me use your camera too. now i will be able to see just how slow i am.
and if you could, please post a link to the lap times, just incase anyone has a hard time finding them.
thanks again,
~N.L.

So who won? I know that a local autocross national champion, Kevin Dietz, was planning to show, but in largely stock (i.e. uncompetitive against more optimized cars assuming equal drivers) cars.

^ no, he won.
he took 1st in the AWD and RWD classes, and 2nd in FWD... i think. BTW he also set a new lap record in his vette. 1:09.4 if i am remembering correctly.
the s2k's were well represented taking 2nd, by jared. who had some really cool spark/fire spitting brakes under hard braking at the end of the straight.
i can't wait to see peole start posting videos.

There were 36 slots for the event. It was sold out yesterday. At 8am this morning there were another 37 entries sitting on the fax machine. Even more were trying to get in at the gate this afternoon... all them had to be turned away. Including a guy that drove up from Portland for the event without pre-registering.
The July 16th event is half-way sold out already. A number of guys pre-registered for the whole season before they left. If you are thinking about doing this event in July, you need to register NOW.

Lol... I tried to get signed up today without success. Had some obligations that needed to be taken care of before I could commit.
Sounds like a good time was had by all.
