Mike from PGP told me that since Alfy registered that the even could no longer be canceled. I am not sure why Alfy is so important, but apparently he is. I'll be there too, and with the rain, I might end up running street tires. I wonder if they will let me run street tires in the r-comp class?

^ ya, I called on Wed I think, and he said that he had gotten a reg. for from "Mr. Alfonso Tan" and that there was no way that he could cancel the even now... I think that he was making fun of me because I have told him about 20 times that he is not going to cancel it.

hahaha gotcha. Well, I am about to get going from my house, so I'll be running a little late, but should be there in time for practice to start. See everyone out there!

So the lap attack today was great. Since there were only about 12-15 cars, they let up do an hour practice before we started, and let up run for a while after the event was over. The day was more like a lapping day with a small lap attack half way through.
The competition was pretty good for how many people were there. I ended up running in the street tire class. Besides me, there were only three other people in street. Most of the people ended up running in novice.
I guess that I should stop trying to change the class structure at least untill more people start showing up again. I ended up taking 1st in street and beat everyone in novice too. the only car that beat me was an SCCA preped ITR class civic.
Here is a clip from one of my lap attack runs. The volume is very low, and there are lots of slides, so don't expect to be blows away by either my driving or the video.
Turn the volume way up, my camera doesn't record sound very well.]
Here is a session from later. I had Alfy as a passenger/victim. In an effort to recreate the famous Jared/Ray session I went out to just play and try to trow the rear end around. I ended up spinning twice. Once when I was trying to link turn one and two into one big drift and ended up spinning on the transiton, and the other was turn five coming over the little crest where it falls off camber. I can normally hold a pretty good drift there, but got a little too excited.
